CLIP-ON EARRINGS

Love earrings but don’t have pierced ears? Our clip-on option is perfect for you.

Designed with comfort in mind, each clip-on backing includes a soft rubber comfort pad to help reduce pressure on the ears while wearing. Our clip-on fixings are also nickel free, making them a great option for customers with metal sensitivities.

BALL STUDS

925 STERLING SILVER UPGRADES

For customers with extra sensitive ears or metal sensitivities, we offer a range of 925 sterling silver upgrade options across many of our designs.

Our sterling silver range includes:

• 1cm Hoops — 1.6mm thickness
• 2cm Hoops — 2mm thickness
• Necklace Chains

All sterling silver pieces are made from genuine 925 sterling silver and are hallmarked where possible. Sterling silver is lighter in colour than stainless steel and is often preferred by customers looking for a premium jewellery finish or an option suitable for highly reactive skin.

The upgrade cost varies depending on the fixing selected and the amount of sterling silver used within the piece.

NECKLACE CHAINS

Many of our dangle designs can also be added to a necklace chain, allowing you to transform your favourite Sapphire Frills designs into wearable everyday necklaces.

We also offer a 925 sterling silver upgrade for customers with extra sensitive skin or metal sensitivities.

Each necklace chain measures approximately 45cm in length, making them perfect for comfortable everyday wear, layering and styling.

 OUR MATERIALS

The majority of our designs are created using high quality acrylic, chosen for its lightweight feel, durability and beautiful glossy finish. Every design is originally hand drawn by Sapphire on a Wacom pad before being precision cut using our laser cutter in our Norfolk studio. Many pieces also feature engraved details which are carefully hand painted to bring each design to life.

Some of our jewellery is also handmade using polymer clay, allowing us to create detailed, lightweight statement pieces with a softer sculpted finish. Our polymer clay designs are carefully shaped, baked, hand painted and gloss varnished for a high quality finish.

We also occasionally incorporate materials such as resin, wood and mirror or iridescent acrylics to create the colourful Sapphire Frills style you know and love ✨
